So it was a usual Sunday evening and it was time to watch a movie. I went to Netflix to look for a good movie and realized that I had seen most of the really good ones so it was time to take a chance and choose something relatively unknown. I have become more picky about what movies I want to watch and the movie has to catch my interest very early on otherwise I lose the interest and watch something else. I guess that is the downside about Netflix. It is so easy to choose something else if the movie you are watching is boring or bad. Sometimes you might not give the movie a chance to prove itself. So, back to the subject which is about a good Netflix movie.
The Way Back Turned Out To Be A Good Netflix Movie
After flicking through lots of movies on Netflix website I finally settled on The Way Back staring among others Ed Harris, Jim Sturgess and Colin Farrell. I am glad I did. It turned out to be good movie. Good acting, well written script and good directing by Peter Weir. It caught my attention right from the start. I have always loved these kind of “escape” movies ever since I watched The Great Escape with Steve McQueen. I do not want to give too much away so I will not tell you more except that you should watch it. It is definitely worth watching. I give it 4 stars as I reserve 5 stars for the absolute best movies.

Hi! Thanks for this recommendation! Defenitely a movie that kept my attention from the very beginning til the last minute. It reminded me of “The Great Escape” with mister blue eyes McQueen. A film based on a true story with a brave group of prisoners who decide to go for the adventure of the escape. Ed Harris plays, as usual, a fantastic rol. I saw this the other day. Quite good cast in this one. Some times Netflix has a good movie like this but many people overlook it.
